Native plants for garden - Monarch on Joe Pye Weed

Garden Plans & Installation

Let us take the guesswork and overwhelm out of designing a garden with high ecological value.

If you already know what you’d like to plant, let us source the plants and install your pollinator garden!

We can even add garden beds by reducing lawn space, bringing more beauty and ecosystem services to your site.

Garlic mustard - Ontario invasive plants

Invasive Species Removal

Most residential areas are full of non-native, invasive plants. Several highly invasive plants are still sold in many nurseries (goutweed, periwinkle, lily of the valley, etc.)!

Invasive plants in your yard can challenge the viability of your native perennials. More than that, they most often escape and spread beyond your yard, infesting local parks and woodlands.

For more information on the impact of invasives, and a list of Ontario invasive species, see our blog post: Invasive Plants in Ontario & What To Plant Instead

Flagstone Paving

Natural stone paving is a great way to add visual interest and functionality to your yard. Stone pathways can be used to shape and define garden beds while allowing you to enjoy every part of your garden.

We work primarily with flagstone for a polished yet natural look.

Each of us carries an inherent responsibility to preserve the quality of earth’s ecosystems. When we leave it to a few experts (none of whom hold political office), the rest of us remain largely ignorant of earth stewardship and how to practice it. The conservation of Earth’s resources, including its living biological systems, must become part of the everyday culture of us all, worldwide.
